The 1971 reunion committee had to make a change for our Saturday night party. We did not get enough reservations to make the deposit in time for the planned party with food and a DJ at the Wavehouse. We are keeping the Saturday night venue there but we won't have a set area and everyone will just need to buy their own food and drinks. Hopefully most of you will come to the Barefoot Bar on Friday night and we can plan on meeting at the Wavehouse on Saturday. Looking forward to seeing everyone!

Hello class of 76, I have been making anual trips to souther California over the last few years and am curious how everyone turned out. I was probably not remembered for much more than being stoned the whole time. I did turn out alright. I did get a degree in Electronic Engineering and now have a small company in the oil and gas exploration industry. Maybe I will run into some of you on my trips. We have a place in La Quinta, California and when we come over to San Diego we stay at the Pacific Terace Hotel. Much more to say will add some more from time to time. I would like to get in touch with Mrs Goycochea, she was a teacher then and had a great impact on my life would like to thank her.

I have in my possesion some 8 mil. home movies that are not
mine. The movies are from 1960 and the names on the movie cans are Judy and Harvey graduated in 1967 and a prom in 1966. No last names just first names. Judy was a blond and also was in a pageant, In the movies they show MBHS
It would be fun to return these to thier families I have maybe 8 reels of movies.
There is also one of a family trip to Denver 1960, and South Dakota, Yosemite.

Sooo.. my proposal for our 35th is as follows..Event #1 Homecoming game.. Friday, October 23, 3pm ... the Alumni Association usually has a tent set up and I assume they will do the same this year.. Event #2 Icebreaker- Happy Hour- Friday after the game. Location TBD, again, the Alumni association set this up last year so I would suggest we attend this. #3 Saturday,Oct 24, several of you set up a golf game last reunion and had a blast... you might want to do that again. #4 Saturday, Oct 24, looking for suggestions for a casual place for drinks and food, large enough to handle how ever many of us decide to show up. #5 Sunday.. possibly a family picnic... email me w/ideas, suggestions, offers to help organize this...Laurie

Does anyone know where Pete Hubbard graduating c;ass 1969 or his brother, Michael Hubbard graduating class 1973 are?
They lived on Agate Street and have not been on any of thr web sites that have to do with High school.
I have been trying to locate either of them for years.
Last I knew, Pete was in the Navy ( approximately 1972-73) and Michael was just kicking it still in MB.

This is "Coach" Dan Brossard. I coached Richard Davies @ MBHS. I remember when his cancer was discovered. Richard was so strong and absolutely determined to beat it. I'd say 35 yrs and two wonderful children definitely defines "beating" it. Way to go Richard! You'll be missed.

IN MEMORY OF RICHARD DAVIES
Many of you from the class of '75 may remember Richard's battle with cancer. You may remember "Davies Marina" which housed the boat Rich was building in shop class. We were given the gift of another 35 years with Rich until he was taken from us Feb. 7th. The Bible says, "Let us run the race with patience that is set before us" Rich has run his race and crossed over to receive the prize, the crown of eternal life. He leaves behind his wonderful wife Julie, daughter Laurel 15 and son Trevor 12 Please share with me or on this forum any thoughts and memories you have.

I believe the so called "donkey" you refer to is in reference to the Sadie Hawkins Day dance we had each year.
I can't see any real political thing that we were involved in, other than protesting the war in southeast Asia.

Best of Luck to ALL for the 2009 year. Times may be tough right now - but BUCS have always hung tough through it all.
Pass by the campus once or twice a year in my travels throughout the county. The fences up around it now cause me to reflect to a simpler time. My couple of years at MBHS are STILL my fondest memories of my youth.
If anyone out there from the graduating class (or junior class) of 1974 has a copy of the Taroga - PLEASE get it copied or scanned for this website. It would be great to replace the one I lost years ago.

Bad news … we lost an alumni. I’m not sure if you heard about it, or if you knew her too. Kristan Wagner (MBHS ’85) fell off the 60-70’ cliff in OB. I remember her as a friendly person that always had a big smile for everyone she met.

My friends of yesterday, today and forever, for the first time today (08/01/08) that I am seeing the pictures from our reunion of 2004. Thank you all gor giving me the opportunity to share with you all. It was really great seeing so many of us,altogether, so lovely.
For our friends that did not make it, please make sure you never miss the ones to come. (make a deal with our saviour)
Class of '84, I have a suggestion, let's do this reunion every five (5) years, now that we are getting a little more mature (not older)so we can share in the blessings of yester-yeears. Perhaps a different State each time, Guess what? 5 years since the last one would be next year...2009....let's do it guys.

Alas, I am a Zonie these days, living in Tucson. Every summer the local news has 'What To Do In San Diego' story. This area is seriously envious of San Diego.
