Dear Pacific Beach Business Member:=

On behalf of Mission Bay High School Alumni, I am pleased to introduce to you the newly established, Mission Bay High School Alumni Association (MBHSAA). = This association is a network of several thousand local graduates of the Pacific Beach community’s only high school.

The MBHSAA was founded in January 2007 to renew and maintain a relationship bet= ween the graduates and the school, reinvigorate a sense of “Buc Pride̶= 1; and promote new alumni events on campus.&n= bsp; Additionally, it is the goal of the MBHSAA to help fill= the “funding gap” in the school budget which will help Mission Bay = High School achieve the highest academic and athletic excellence and give all former, current and future Mission Bay Buccaneers a sense of alumni pride a= nd spirit.

The MBHSAA will hold the second annual “A= ll Alumni Kick Off Party” at the Homecoming Football Game this fall (dat= e to be determined) . At this event we will offer a silent auction to our guests with all proceeds to fund our goal. In preparing our silent auction we need and will appreciate your donation of services, certificates= for merchandise or funds. <= o:p>

If you are able to contribute, please fill out = the attached donor form and return it with your donation in the addressed envel= ope enclosed. All donati= ons are 100% tax deductible. =

Our goal is to raise $5000 at our event. This will enable us to create our monthly newsletter, plan alumni events, maintain an alumni office at Mission Bay High School and fund much needed classroom supplies and equipment that the current MBHS budget cannot support. We hop= e to develop a strong and well-supported alumni organization that will help deve= lop a superior quality of education and continue to build Mission Bay H= igh School back to the local educational tradition the Pacific Beach community can be proud of. <= o:p>
